How the Day Runs
Around two and a half to 3 hours from Amman. We aim to have you at the Siq entrance before the bigger tour groups arrive.
Roughly four to five hours inside, enough for the Treasury, Royal Tombs, and a relaxed walk through the main sites without feeling rushed toward the exit.
About 3 hours mostly downhill, literally, since you're heading toward the lowest point on Earth.

You get a genuine several hours in Petra — enough to reach the Treasury, the Royal Tombs, and walk the Colonnaded Street without sprinting — and still enough time to properly float and mud up at the Dead Sea before heading back. It's a long day, not a rushed one, since your private driver handles all the logistics between the two sites and there's no group schedule dictating when you have to move on.
